What Happened to Comedian Kapere?

According to reports, Kapere was visiting his child's school alongside his wife, Lydia Nakandi, popularly known as Mama Trump, when he suddenly collapsed.

He was reportedly taken for medical attention and later died at a hospital in Buddo.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Rachael Kawala confirmed that authorities were aware of the incident and that investigations were being conducted to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.

A postmortem examination was expected to help determine the exact cause of death.

Who Was Kapere Lufotose?

Born Yokana Mbuuse, Kapere became a familiar face in Uganda's entertainment industry through his work with the Amarula Family comedy group.

He gained popularity alongside fellow comedians Allan Mujuni, popularly known as Amooti Omubalanguzi, and Nicholas Mpiirwe, also known as Messe Bontwe.
